Well, it's better late than never.. so here's my story from Thursday Riot, Dec 11, 2008.
Got to Prambors Fm at about 4 something... Actually, were supposed to meet the girls at 2:30 but for one to many reasons, it was delayed... However, it was lucky for us that we still could do the sound checks and all...
After the sound checking thingie, we took a few pic in front of the RIOT picture before deciding to eat in the mall because Vanco the soundman wanted to hangout and showed his Interpol (in everyday) style. So, yeah, we went there and I had a beefbowl yummmeeehhhh ^^
Done with eating stuffs, we had to get back to the studio otherwise Titaz the producer would cut us off LOL (j/k). Tania still hadn't arrived. In other hand, two good friends of CLOVER, Yanti and Heri showed up. Yanti took my CLOVER pin by force T.T and then there was Felix, Ballad of the Cliche's manager in which I didn't recognize at first due to his changing look :P
At Sevenish, Monday Math Class finally began their session. They performed like three songs and had an interview with DJ Pelor. I had never seen Monday Math Class before but I think they're very good. Some people think that they sound a bit like the Adams with female vocals but I think they sound a bit different. Finally, after two songs, Tania came around.
After Monday Math Class, our turn came along. I must admit that I was a bit nervous at first and I really needed to hit the toilet... stomachache FTW!!! We played Tania in a Car, the first single of the album, for the first song. The respond was quite nice actually, some even gave us an idea to made a clip where Tania rode a Vespa (oh wait, so we gotta change the title too then LOL). The second song was Our Little Secret and after that we had a little talk with the DJ. The third song was Lullaby for the Fireflies.. I'm so sorry I forgot my part girls >.<>
Soon after we were done, Cascade took our place in the studio. I had never listened to them too but I kinda like their tunes. They sound like Mew but then in their other song, they sound like Phoenix. Good performance, lots of effects here and there.
About ninish, we did a little family picture session infront of the RIOT wall and after that, we went home with big smiles...
PS: a big hug to people who were listening, totally heart you all!!!
