Book Review: Nina Malkin - 6X THe Uncensored Confessions (2005)

Holiday is time for reading. And this holiday, I had read two books already. As for this book, "6X The Uncensored Confessions" by NINA MALKIN, is actually the second book I read (the first one was Roald Dahl's "The Witches") which I actually found in my sister's room. She has a thing for teenlits and this one's obviously one representation of her fondness.

OK, so this book tells about a band's journey from the beginning until the album launching. It's suppose to be like a video diary of the four members of the band so it was written in 4 point of views. The story line itself is not that much of a different from any other teen flicks. What makes it a little bit colourful is that all of the characters are different from each other. And so, they sure to have conflicts due to that differences.

The language used in this book is very much "teen" like. It's not hard to read and sometimes I find it a little annoying when translated into Bahasa Indonesia. For example like "Si Body Yahud", this phrase honestly is not very catchy. So now I am a bit curious on the original English version.

Despite of the fact that this book is a nothing-new-kinda-story thing, it's not that bad to read especially when you're just looking for something light to read in your spare time. Quite enjoyable and absolutely "pop corn".
